Which format gives the smallest file?

WebP typically gives 25-35% smaller files than JPEG at the same quality. AVIF is even smaller but has less browser support.

Will PNG compression lose my transparency?

No. When compressing PNG, transparency is preserved. Only when converting to JPEG does transparency become a white background.

Can I compress HEIC photos from my iPhone?
